HOT CHARGE
In the hot charge technique for TMT, the billets are delivered for hot rolling in the wire rod or bar mill afterthey exit the casting unit but before they lose all their heat. The main feature and advantages of hot charging technique are, Energy savings,Decreasing billet inventory / yard space, Reducing production cycle time&Billet surface quality defects prevention.
Cooling bed
Cooling beds naturally cool the Tmt Bars as well as cross transfer towards the discharge end. The front end of the bars are also leveled at the discharge side and a fixed number of bars sent for final length cutting by cold shear and bundling.
